These draconian laws will have a devastating effect on the rights of gun owners, allowing government agents to seize legally owned firearms with no due process whatsoever.

Ban “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation:

WHEREAS: “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation laws allow gun owners to be stripped of their rights without due process; and

WHEREAS: Under these so-called “protective orders,” guns could be taken away from law-abiding citizens just because someone complains about them; and

WHEREAS: These schemes violate the Second, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments to the United States Constitution; and

WHEREAS: Gun confiscation orders have a chilling effect on free speech by frightening gun owners into not speaking out about their beliefs for fear of having their guns seized by the state.

THEREFORE: I urge you to wholeheartedly do everything in your power to STOP “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation laws in South Carolina. Palmetto Gun Rights will keep me informed of your actions.
